Heather Nauert

 Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27, 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former government official who was Spokesperson for the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration from 2017 to 2019. She was a senior associate with the Hudson Institute. It is an conservative think tank.



 



 Prior to joining the Department of State, Nauert was a Fox News reporter and news presenter for Fox & Friends. Nauert also served as Acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Diplomacy in the Trump administration from March to October of 2018. In the year 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and to the President's Commission on White House Fellowships.
